San Carlos - San Lazaro 82-85 Mauricio Baez - Barias 97-76 Mauricio Baez cruised past Barias for the second win in Final Four stage. Mauricio Baez made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. It was a great evening for naturalized American guard Gerardo Suero (196-89, college: Albany) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Forward Juan Miguel Suero (196-93) helped adding 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Mauricio Baez players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Tony Mitchell (203-92, college: N.Texas) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import Paris Bass (203-95, college: Detroit) scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
